International Children's Day

On 1 June, to mark International Children’s Day, Special Olympics organised a special event for young children with disabilities.
In an atmosphere full of colour, games, and laughter, the children had the chance to enjoy themselves and to feel included. The day was not simply a celebration but an important reminder that every child has the right to play, to dream, and to take an active part in society.
A day full of feeling, warmth, and a clear message about equality and inclusion.
This activity was part of the Healthy Athletes initiative of Special Olympics Albania.
